Retro planets help pursue the native again and again itβs natural and ownership significations. Kind of obsession where the native is not satisfied. It can be both negative or positive. For example if 7th lord retro β then sustaining relationships or marriage can be difficult since native pursues more. If 10th lord is retro β he keeps looking for perfection and can change jobs frequently and go to higher position faster. However, it may also seem like this guy is not stable in a job. 3) Saturn is practically away from the above and so falls in next house.
Now, Saturn is considered to be placed in Leo but in 6th house. Because in Bhava chart β there are no Signs (Aries / Taurus etc) but houses only. Sign significations come to the planet from Rasi it is placed in.

Kona lords (1,5,9) are still benefics even if they are lording (6/8/12) β like Mercury opening 9,12 houses for Libra is still a beneficial planet despite owning 12th.
However, if Saturn and Mars are present then can give bad marriage irrespective of good lordships β unless 7th lord and itβs dispositor are very well placed.
But as we all know we need to see the chart.
