Suppose someone is a Leo ascendant, without seeing any planets you can predict to the native that he will be focused in his higher studies, Father will have a good physique or will be on the thin side, Teachers will behave strictly with this native, Submission of homework in collage will be done on time for first few months and then the native will submit assignments late for some time, etc.
All the above predictions are made because the sign of Aries is in the 9th House and only the Qualities of Aries and the significations of the 9th house has been used.

It can be any planet, Saturn, Mars, Rahu, Ketu; Whatever good or bad they are doing is totally based on the karam of you and your lineage. Now coming back to your question, to know what kind of results Rahu is giving, check what happened in the shookshma or prana dasha of Rahu each time you went through it.

For any event to occur, the combination must be present in the Rashi chart and then repeated in the Navansh chart and then only the event can be confirmed.
If you have the combinations of Marriage in the Rashi chart, then the above combination which you mentioned does not deny marriage, but it will create disputes due to differences of opinion/principles along with problems with the inlaws.
