To quote DG sir, it is not good to do remedies without predictions, especially since it is the lagna you refer to. Secondly, in case of Lord Rahu, you have to be doubly sure before doing remedies as it can backfire. So my humble suggestion – please get your chart checked, confirm the predictions before doing any specific remedies on lagna.
That said, please do the regular temple donations on Sankranti, Poornima and Amavasya (Sir has explained this in vids) and ancestors start blessing after a while. Also ensure to perform rituals of Tarpan/shraadh as per your family norms, for your ancestors during the Mahalaya period.
