    Rahu in Eight House:

This is not a good position for a badly placed Rahu. When Rahu is in a favorable sign, it will give good results in its sub-period in the major-period of a favorable planet. Its association with a good planet will also be beneficial. If it is favorable the native would be able to discharge his debts, and will acquire movable property. Such a Rahu will make the native wealthy after the age of 42 years. Rahu in this house with the owner of the eighth house causes fevers like typhoid. If the owner of the eighth house occupies the eighth house with Rahu or aspects it, the native will fall sick during the major or sub-periods of Rahu. Generally Rahu in this house tends to make the native face difficulties from his children, and with regard to his family and health. He may mismanage his finances. He will face humiliation and criticism. He may suffer from small pox, stomach trouble or trouble in the rectum or testicles. He will have a highly developed sex urge and may gratify it by having secret liaisons with women of ill repute. He may thus contract sexually transmitted diseases or such ailment which can neither be diagnosed nor treated. He may not live long. He will suffer from trouble caused by his enemies and there is a chance of his getting incarcerated. An adverse Rahu will bring down the native with serious sickness in his 9th year of life. His younger sister/brother will be happy and prosperous unless exceptions mentioned for the sixth house above exist. It will give results of its placement in the fourth house to the children of the native. His wife will have some speech defect or she will talk rudely or untruthfully. His father will not have a happy married life.
