I have Saturn in Aquarius and Pieces Navamsa and it’s in exchange with Jupiter in capricorn in navamsa. For me to know which career will Saturn do, do I check Jupiter placement in D1 to conclude or Jupiter in Navamsa?

yes .. you can check Jupiter place ment in d1 chart.
also Saturn in Pisces navamsha good career in foreign lands.
put oil in foot for more clarity in career.
