im not judging skin tones , im just curious
how do we determine skin tone in astrology ?
i have venus in 7th exactly at lagna degree (cancer asc.) and my brother have retro saturn in lagna (gemini asc) but he have lighter skin tone ?.
Best is read it from Navamsa lagna.
Because lagna is 2.5 hours and not everybody will fit into that color.
yes has to do with navamsa chart , like ak in which navamsa etc.

One of the biggest misconceptions that the Zodiac Culture has created IMO is that Venus is white. Venus can be white because it rules taurus but its mostly Black because its mooltrikona is Libra, The darkest sign. Its essentially related to night where the Sun debilitates & Saturn exalts. Venus aspecting the lagna will give a darker hue to the person, but pretty eyes. Saturn will be more tall, lanky, coarse hair, yellowish-brown hue.

Color can be determined by the effect of rashis as well and aspects of other planets as well. for example cancer is white and so on. Although I have sun and Mercury and in first house, my skintone is reddish and yellow because of Mars’s aspect.
yes that was my main question , why he have lighter complexion then .
As we observe the rashis play the role here. If you read Varna of rashis in BPHS you will definitely get more insight.
yes i will definately read them ? . but in one of sirs video he was talking something about atmakaraka and darakaraka .
